Are you a group looking for some epic adrenaline fuelled action in the stunning Lake District? You don’t know where to turn for fun activities when planning a Stag, hen or birthday trip away? We have the right activities for you, so look no further! We can advise you on the outdoor activity to suit your group. Our most popular outdoor activities has to be canyoning and ghyll scrambling. We have locations that suit bigger groups and can point you in the right direction of a nearby pub after you finish!
If you’re planning a Stag/Hen or a Corporate Day then these activities are a great way of getting everyone together, having a laugh in the fresh air, whilst also cheering each other on during the activity. If anyone in your party is not taking part they can often watch bits from a path (location dependant) or they can wait in a nearby cafe/bar.
Stickle Ghyll in Langdale is a great option for your group trip if you have anyone with you that thinks they will not want to get submerged. They can skip any challenges without it affecting anyone else and can still carry on to the next one! This location is in a picturesque part of the Lakes and has a handy toilet block and pubs close by.
Want to combine one of those 2-3 hour canyoning/ghyll scrambling trips mentioned above with another activity? Abseiling is the perfect start to your adventurous day. This takes part in an impressive disused quarry and you will get to abseil down around 100-120 ft. Whilst down in the quarry we will show you around and get some good action shots of your descent!
If you would like to do a full day in the water with your stag/hen/group trip then have a look at Esk (for monster jumps) and Devils Canyon (for monster abseil/ziplines down waterfalls). Devils canyon works best with a group size of no more than 8 , due to the amount of rope work involved and having to wait for each person to individually abseil etc. We don’t want it to get boring so would rather restrict the numbers for your own enjoyment.
Our wetsuits are imported over from Spain as they are the highest quality we have tried. No cheap thin suits here! You will be comfortable and hopefully warm. We wear the same as all our Customers, so you know we are providing you with the best.
